Per Scholas

Per Scholas is a national nonprofit that drives social change through intensive, tuition-free technology training. Our organization prepares people of color, women, veterans and others underrepresented in tech for successful careers—while connecting growing companies to diverse talent. Demand for tech talent is strong and there are more job openings than there are qualified people to fill them. By training populations traditionally underrepresented in tech—women, people of color, or those for whom college isn’t the right fit —we can help drive economic and social progress for all.

Since 1997, Per Scholas has provided tuition-free training to more than 20,000 individuals across 22 campuses, enabling learners to build skills and earn certifications to jumpstart high-growth technology careers. To ensure that the right career is accessible to everyone, Per Scholas covers the cost of all supplies a learner might need, whether that's a laptop and wifi to participate in remote training or fees when learners take certification exams to gain industry credentials. We never charge learners a single dollar to participate in their training, and we hopewe never will.

Mission

At Per Scholas, we believe a thriving workforce starts with equitable access to education. Our mission is to advance economic equity through rigorous training for tech careers and to connect skilled talent to leading businesses.
